This page explains what data we collect on over-dose.net and studio.over-dose.net, and why.
Who is responsible?
Both sites are run by OverDose Studio, part of Bader Solutions. For anything about your data: our contact form.
What we collect
- Statistics: we use an analytics tool hosted on our own servers (Umami). It sets no cookies and collects no personal data. It tells us how many visits we get, which pages are read most, and actions such as sharing and reacting.
- Reactions and view counts: when you react to a story, your browser keeps a random number that does not identify you, and we store a hashed copy so that a reaction is not counted twice.
- The «جرعة الأسبوع» newsletter: if you subscribe, we keep your email address, the date and the page you subscribed from, only to send you the newsletter.
- The Studio's contact form: we keep what you write (name, company, country, email, phone, service, budget, message) to reply and prepare an offer. We do not sell or share it.
- The contact form on over-dose.net: we keep your name, email, the subject, any link you add and your message, to reply to you. It is forwarded to our inbox by email.
- Abuse protection: we use a hashed form of your IP address to block spam, and do not store the address itself.
Storage in your browser
- over-dose.net sets no cookies. It keeps in your browser's local storage the random reaction number, your reaction on each story, the time of your last view, and whether you have seen the swipe hint in reels.
- studio.over-dose.net sets one cookie (od_lang) to remember your language if you change it, for one year.
How long we keep data
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
- Studio enquiries: 24 months, then deleted.
- Backups: 14 days.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, or for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to its use, through our contact form. We reply within one month. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority in your country.
Changes
If we change this policy, we update the date above.
